1. Collect your sample at home

Collect both samples at home, in private. Add the included preservative to your sperm sample to keep it stable, and take your hormone sample using the arm draw kit provided.

2. Send them back

Post both kits back using the prepaid packaging provided. Your sperm sample travels in temperature controlled packaging to protect it in transit, and each kit goes to its specialist lab.

3. Lab analysis

Your samples are analysed by registered specialists at trusted UK labs, so your results are accurate and clinically sound.

4. Consultation

Once both results are ready, talk them through over a video consultation with an NMC registered (Nursing and Midwifery Council) fertility practitioner, with clear next steps.

5. Get your reports

Receive two comprehensive fertility reports covering both your sperm analysis and hormone profile, written to be understood without a medical degree.

Malebox Health

Who it is for

This is the right test if you and your partner have been trying to conceive for 12 months or more, or if you simply want the most complete view of your fertility health in one go. Because hormones play a central role in how sperm are produced, pairing the two tests can reveal context a sperm test on its own would miss. It gives you a clear, accurate picture you can act on, with expert guidance to take the next steps with confidence. These tests are offered in line with national guidance.

Malebox Health

What this male fertility test measures

This test goes further than a standard sperm test. The semen analysis covers nine key markers: semen volume, total count, concentration, progressive motility, non-progressive motility, total motility, immotile sperm, vitality, and morphology, all compared against World Health Organisation (WHO) reference ranges. The male hormone profile then measures eight hormones from a blood sample: total testosterone, free testosterone (calculated), FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), LH (luteinising hormone), oestradiol, prolactin, SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin), and DHEA sulphate. Together these show how well your body is signalling and supporting sperm production, giving you and your clinician context that a semen analysis alone cannot.

How the kits work

Your order arrives as two separate kits: one for your sperm sample and one for your blood sample. Order before 4pm on a weekday and your kits arrive the next day. You collect your sperm sample at home and package it using the temperature-controlled kit, which is unique to Malebox and helps keep the sample stable in transit. Once both samples reach the lab, your results are brought together and delivered in a single video consultation.

Malebox Health

Clinical-grade accuracy, explained clearly

Your samples are analysed by an andrologist who is HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered, following WHO guidelines. Your combined results are then delivered in a video consultation with an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registered fertility practitioner, who explains what each result means and what your options are. You also receive a clear, easy to read written report, designed to be understood without a medical degree.

At-Home Sperm Test with Consultation

Regular price £240.00
Sale price Regular price

A Malebox at-home sperm test gives you a clear, clinical-grade picture of your sperm health, without a GP referral, a clinic visit, or a long wait. You collect your sample in private at home, send it to our accredited partner lab, and have your results explained by an expert fertility practitioner on a video call. It is the simplest way for men in the UK to understand where they stand.

What an at-home sperm test measures

Your sample is analysed as a full semen analysis, the same assessment used in NHS and private fertility clinics. It covers nine key markers: semen volume, total count, concentration, progressive motility, non-progressive motility, total motility, immotile sperm, vitality, and morphology. Every result is compared against World Health Organisation (WHO) reference ranges, so you get a proper benchmark rather than a vague indicator.

How the home sperm test kit works

Order before 4pm on a weekday and your kit arrives the next day. You produce your sample at home, package it using the temperature-controlled kit, and drop it at your local Royal Mail post office. Temperature-controlled packaging is unique to Malebox Health and matters more than most people realise, because a sample that gets too warm or too cold in transit can read lower than it truly is. Once it reaches the lab, you have your results within 24 hours.

Clinical-grade accuracy, explained clearly

Every sample is analysed by an andrologist who is HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered, following WHO guidelines. Your results are then delivered in a video consultation with an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registered fertility practitioner, who walks you through what each number means and what your options are. You also receive a written fertility report designed to be understood without a medical degree.

Who it is for

This test suits men who want to proactively understand their fertility health, whether you are planning ahead before trying for a baby, or simply want a clear baseline. If you and your partner have been trying to conceive for 12 months or more, our Home Sperm Test and Male Hormone Profile follows NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidance by adding a full hormone panel. An at-home sperm test is a starting point, not a diagnosis, and results can vary between samples. What it gives you is a clear, accurate number you can act on, and the expert guidance to take the next steps with confidence.
